(Summary bokus.com)
No, Silver Crown is nothing but a boring lesson in medieval Gotland customs and rituals that long periods of time completely took over, and it stopped the murder investigation of. Yawn!
My aversion to this book may be due to my total disinterest in history. It is okay to have with historic features, but if they go page after page must rest be pure magic for it to go home with me.
This is not the case here ... far from it.
When the plot is told it is really interesting and exciting. Then the history lesson takes over completely stop the pace up and then you might as well shut the book, sleep, and take new tag next day. The characters feel contrived and Mary Werner has a marriage crisis. Nothing new on that front either in other words. This is almost a perfect sleeping pill you can get into the world of books ...
